The purpose of this telephone class is to introduce and educate yourself on digital strategies and how they impact your business in a cost-effective way. In this telephone class series, participants will learn:

·         What is a Digital Strategy?

·         Why do you need a Digital Strategy?

·         Digital Demographics

·         What is Social Media?

·         How do use Social Media?

·         What is a Virtual World?

·         How do we use mobile phones to get our message out?

·         How do we use blogs?

·         How do these elements apply to our business?

·         How do we set digital goals?

·         How do we use video in our business?

·         How do we connect all of these technologies together?

After this class, you will have some practical information on how to start using digital strategies for your company.

Class Structure:
We offer a 4-week telephone class on digital strategy and how it applies to your business. Here’s what’s included:

·         Four live telephone classes taught by Barbara Bickham.

·         Support in defining clear digital goals that you'll do through the class.

·         Between class assignments and worksheets.

·         A planning session that will help you find out your next steps after the class ends.

·         Bonus: A 60-minute one-on-one session with Barbara to discuss your specific digital needs and get practical customized recommendations.

Class Dates and Times:
The class starts July 9th, 2009 and meets weekly on Thursdays at 9:00am Pacific / 12:00 pm Eastern for one hour.


Class size: The maximum class size is 25 participants so you get most air time and support. Between-class assignments: You'll have assignments between classes take up to 90 minutes per week and help expand the material.

Costs: $175.00

 

What is a telephone class?

A telephone class is a conference call, like a chat line. You and between 6 or more other people call a regular phone number (called a bridge line) at your class time.  You are welcomed by the Telephone class Leader.

A telephone class is similar to a high school or university class discussion -- some lecture, some questions, some discussion. If this is your first time taking a telephone class, you may wonder if and how it works. It just does. It's interactive and the energy from the people works well. You can listen and absorb and/or engage in the discussion. You can always ask questions of the telephone class leader or other people on the call with you.

Most telephone class sessions last an hour up to a maximum of two hours. You will be notified of how long your telephone class is expected to be. Some meet one time only, others meet weekly for 4-8 weeks, and there are even yearlong programs available.

The advantages of telephone classes include:

        * no travel time

        * no dress requirements

        * speak with people in other countries

        * no technical or computer skills necessary

        * cost-effective

You do not need a computer to be in the class. All you need is a regular phone!

We will distribute the bridge line the day before the class starts.

Note: The bridge lines used are mainly US based so you will be charged international rates.
